The Homann Heirs were one of the most prominent cartography publishers in the eighteenth century, so much so that it can be said that this map is one of the most fashionable models in the century of Enlightenment, knowing wide diffusion and remarkable fortune. Nice cartouche with the mythological representation of Scylla and Carirri. Sicily divided in its three valleys and provinces.
